A memorial involves the act of remembering. It is
classically supposed to be a signifier, referring not to
itself, but persons, events or deeds etc., which should be
remembered or recalled in the generations to come.
How does one help people recall and know about Great
people? It is just through the proper presentation of the
person’s great deeds and and sacrifice. The memorial in
order to be successful needs to create and recreate
memory maps for future generations.
The Design
The dynamic, curvilinear form reflects the multi-faceted
personality of Late S. B. Chavan in terms of his all round
social and political contribution and futuristic approach.
